Tonight I had an overwhelming feeling of sheer happiness. I had a smile on my face that I couldn't get rid of. It came about when I was in my backyard planting marigolds around my veggies, and Chad came into the backyard. I was busy digging and mixing plant fertilizer into the dirt and he was watering the flowers on the other side of the lawn.
After I finished up I moved stuff out of the way so he could continue watering the lawn. We stood outside just chatting and enjoying the breeze. It was such a great feeling. I couldn't help but feel butterflies for him in our new home. Seeing a new side of him (as well as myself) made that happen. Getting to tend to our yard and take pride in the place we live was such a great feeling. I can't wait till we finish moving things in and getting all the things we need to make our home "complete." But for now the love in this house is strong and I couldn't ask for anything else.
